VISA PROCESS TO ETHIOPIA

Kenya and Djibouti nationals do not need visa to enter Ethiopia.

IF YOU RESIDE IN A COUNTRY WHERE THERE IS AN ETHIOPIAN EMBASSY

Please note the below for your conference visa to Ethiopia.

  • Send a copy of your passport (and resident permit in case you are not a national of the country in which you reside)to info@ictexpoethiopia.com  & mintamir@ictexpoethiopia.com
  • We will submit copy of your passport to the Immigration office in Addis Ababa, who in turn will send the visa pre-approval to the Embassy in your country of residence. This process will take about 5 working days.
  • Once the pre-approval is sent to the Embassy, we will notify you to go the Embassy to secure your visa.
  • In addition to any requirements the Embassy may have for the application, we will send you a visa support letter along with a copy of the immigration notification to take to the Embassy with you.
  • Note that visa validity dates tend to be short and count from date of issuance so apply closer to your travel time.

 

IF YOU RESIDE IN A COUNTRY WHERE THERE IS NO ETHIOPIAN EMBASSY

Please note the below for your conference visa to Ethiopia.

  • Send a copy of your passport (and resident permit in case you are not a national of the country in which you reside) to info@ictexpoethiopia.com & mintamir@ictexpoethiopia.com
  • We will submit copy of your passport to the Immigration office in Addis Ababa, who in turn will issue your conference visa on arrival approval slip. This process will take about 4 working days.
  • We will send you copy of your visa on arrival approval slip via email along with an invitation letter confirming your participation to the exhibition
  • Please carry the visa approval and invitation letter with you – DO NOT PACK THE DOCUMENTS IN YOUR CHECKED-IN LUGGAGE
